Becoming an Expert (Professional Account)

Register as a normal user, then go to Account β Professional Account and submit your expert profile for approval.

Itβs the expert mode of your account that lets you list your services, set per-minute rates, manage availability, and receive paid calls from users.

Youβll be asked to add key information such as:
1. Category / expertise areas
2. Short profile bio (what you help with)
3. Languages
4. Audio & video per-minute rates (if applicable)
5. Availability / schedule
6. Any additional profile details requested during onboarding

No. After you submit your Professional Account, it goes through an approval process. Youβll be notified once approved. Ideally it takes upto 2 business days. It can take more based on the queue.

Currently, only experts across the listed categories within the app and based in India are eligible.

ConsultEase typically onboards professionals in broad areas like Tax & Compliance, Legal Advisory, Finance & Accounting, Business & Startup Advisory, Documentation & Regulatory Support, and investments ( availability depends on whatβs enabled in the app).

No. Selecting too many unrelated categories can reduce trust and conversions. Pick 1β4 strong categories and describe your exact use-cases in your bio.

You can apply only if a relevant category is available. If itβs missing, request it at support@consultease.com with your profession and 3β5 common queries you can handle.

It indicates your profile has completed verification checks and is more trusted by users. It is not a guarantee of outcomes.

No. ConsultEase does not support document upload/sharing during calls, and users are not asked to upload documents.

ConsultEase is pay-per-minute. Users pay based on call duration at your displayed per-minute rate.

Yes, if enabled for your category. Users will see both rates before calling.

Billing is per minute. Partial minutes (seconds) are billed as a full minute.

Yes. Rate changes apply going forward. Users always see the current rate before they call.

Yes, there may be platform/payment processing charges and applicable taxes handled by the platform. You will clearly see effective rates/charges on your rates screen.

Repeated missed calls can impact user trust and may affect your profile performance/visibility.

Yes. You can mark yourself unavailable ( Vacation mode ) when you donβt want to receive calls.
Call Rules & Professional Conduct

Yes. Calls happen within the ConsultEase app.

No. Off-platform payments and moving users outside the platform are not allowed and can lead to suspension.

Earnings, Payouts & Statements

You earn based on completed call minutes Γ your effective rate, minus applicable platform fees/charges (as per platform policy).

Yes. You can always view your earnings and transaction details inside the app under the Wallet tab (including wallet balance and transaction history). Youβll also receive/view the monthly statement for tracking and reconciliation.

ConsultEase shares your monthly statement between the 1st and 10th of the next month for the previous monthβs earnings. You then need to raise an invoice to ConsultEase in the designated format. Details for sending invoice are available in the statement. Once your invoice is received and verified, payouts are released within 2 weeks.

Review the monthly statement β raise the invoice in the required format β submit it to ConsultEase. Payouts are processed based on the submitted invoice.

Payouts are released only after the invoice is submitted in the designated format. If you delay submission, your payout will be delayed accordingly.
